It is attached to a smooth surface (laminate, tile, linoleum), but I do not have good for laminate, since the laminate is not smooth, but the tile was sucked perfectly. The sit-up bar is as described. Haven't tried yet, but it did stick to my wooden floor. I didn't communicate with the seller, because there was no need for it.
The packaging was a bit broken and there is a small dent on the lower end of the bar and some damage to the paint and to the bar itself, but that probably isn't the sellers fault and it doesn't affect using the bar in any way.
The delivery was a little less then a month – ordered 15.06, arrived 13.07.
