Smaller objects such as herbs and garlic, roll the blade as desired.
For best results, roll the blade without lifting it unnecessarily. If the blade slips or stops rolling, relax pressure on the casing, or life unit and reposition on the cutting surface.
To chop, use the trigger/brake: Lift brake upward with forefinger to chop; release for rolling action. Minimal pressure is required. Note: brake keeps the blade from freely rotating.
